Fortune Builders are great for one thing and one thing only: Their $200 seminar brings a ton of new members to Biggerpockets!!!

You're right about FB driving folks to BP.  I just did a google search on Fortune Builders and up pops a link to Bigger Pockets ... at least the FB crowd does get to the right place (BP) in the end.

From what I keep hearing everybody across the political spectrum seems to agree there is going to be increased wage competition.

Take a look at the California Mortgage Association, they have four conferences a year.  It's all about private lender regulations.  Strictly professional, absolutely no guru speak.  Disclosure: I'm not associated with them in any way other than I've attended a couple of their conferences.

I heard of another feature in QuickBooks that is similar to classes called projects (or jobs).  I was told that classes are long-term, and projects/jobs are short-term.  If so, does it make sense for flips to be projects, and rentals to be classes (as opposed to everything being a class)?  Have you guys ever heard about this before?

I assign a class to every job, that way you can get at the data from either perspective.

I have both personal and business in the same bank now but am moving banks to be closer to the project(s), my current bank doesn't have a branch there.  I'm trying to decide if I want to split the two between different banks.  Seems there are plus's and minus's to each.  Good comments @John Blackman , @Jean Bolger , @Colleen F.

Thanks for the suggestion.  The Evernote website claims their ScanSnap Evernote Edition scanner is the 're-imagined' iX500.  Are you at all familiar with it?  I'm wondering if it's just hype or if there is something to it.

I understand the importance in keeping personal and business bank accounts separate, but is there any advantage or disadvantage in keeping them in separate banks?

These folks will pay whatever rent you want in Colorado to be close to the (only?) Pot grower that breeds plants high in CBD (cannabidiol compound) and low in THC (psychoactive compound), I found it quite striking:

That's the way I read it too.  Best to wait until the lease ends before sending a notice without cause. Unless of course it's some place like Santa Monica in which case it's doubtful landlord will ever be able to get rid of an unwanted tenant.  My friend has been living in a nice one bedroom SM apt for over 30 years, at pretty much 70's rent (thank you Tom Hayden and Jane Fonda).

Oops, meant this in response to
