I'd walk away from that one.

Not enough room for profit.

Why are there so many "This post has been removed" on this thread???

15 years old, lost her mom at 8 and your sister is worried about the girl using too much water?????

Wow! Pretty sad in my opinion.

I was thinking of buying fixer uppers and fixing them up to rent to handicap people.

Lower counter tops, wheelchair ramps, wheelchair accessible showers ect...

A friend of mine mentioned it and I though it might be a good idea. Just not sure where to find rules and regs. and also how to list them for rent.

I know if I go with section 8 people there is a waiting list for them to find a house so they would rent right away.

I'm in Texas if that helps.

Thanks so much for your help.

That's what we did.

It was VERY rough, for two years.

The place was a mess but we ended up with enough money to buy our current home that just needed new kitchen and bath, siding and paint.

Once all this is done, about another month or so I can pull 100K out of the house since we own it free and clear and use that money for flips.

This one we plan to stay in for a while and I had to promise my wife no more living in a construction zone.

At the time we just had one three year old.

It's really hard and you have to clean a LOT. But in our case were almost through it and it'll be worth it since I wont have to deal with banks or hard money loans for the flips we plan to buy.

Good luck.

Try Redfin.com for comps.

Good luck.

Thank you.

I'm very curious to see how this works out.

Please keep me posted on how the cash for keys goes. How much you offered ect.

What happens if they don't move out though....That's my concern.

Looks awesome!

I'm curious as to how you will remove the people from the new house your closing on soon.

I've seen those on auction.com and was not sure how that process works.

Again, looks awesome, great job!
