Post: Looking for a good contractor for work on new residence

Hello,

My wife and I just purchased a house in Olympia, Washington and are doing a decent amount of rehab prior to moving in.  We originally were going to have Lowe's do the work through one of their "certified" contractors, but the quote came in about 14k more than I think its worth.  That being said, my wife and I are looking for a trust worthy, qualified contractor that can do floors, kitchen cabinets, some work in the bathrooms, and maybe put in a few new windows.  This contractor should have references as well that I can double check.  (Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, JBLM, Yelm, Puyallup, Lakewood, Dupoint, Graham).

Thanks for the assistance in advance,

Dave

Hey guys,

Wife and I are on orders to head up to ft. Lewis / JBLM in June. We are trying to find a place with a little land (.5-1 acre) and a 3/2 that needs some cosmetic work. We also are looking for reputable contractors to have on tap when the time comes. The goal is to fix it up and then do it again in a few years. The areas I like are Yelm, Lacey, Roy, and Puyallup.....please let me know if you can help. My wife is in Portland area now and would also like to know when the next REI meetup is in the area? Thanks everyone

Caleb Sandfort .......welcome to BP! I grew up in Vancouver, WA before going to college and then joining the military..... Vancouver, camas, Washougal all have amazing potential for appreciation as more people flood into Portland and they realize how horrible the taxes are....the problem is big money investors are snatching up everything with potential within hours of it being listed! Realtors won't even take you seriously unless you have all cash right now.... The military is taking me up to Tacoma which has great potential as well but isn't quite on the radar yet for the big money guys....let me know if you have any questions about the area!

Let me know if you come across anything else in the next few months that needs work.....my family is moving to the area but would hire your crew to renovate prior to

Its amazing how arrogance is so plainly evident through posts alone - despite what techniques you use I guarantee its not a solution for everyone

Hello all,

My wife and I are looking for someone in Washington State that would like to help out a military family with both buy and hold strategy as well as flipping.  We would be very indebted to your help and maybe we could do some deals together in the future.  Also, I am active duty military so if you have a military background that would also be beneficial.

Thanks
