@Xiomara Davila

I’m fairly new too and I know how it feels when you’re trying to get your first, it can be confusing not knowing where to start or how to get the ball rolling. I’m from New York too (Brooklyn) on the road to success! If you ever have any questions or concerns I don’t mind bouncing ideas and advice .

Hey BP family , I'm currently confused on the route to go about with lenders. I'm an new OOS investor looking in some markets and people have been recommending I find a lender in my market first. I do have a hard money lender that does nationwide lending that already pre-approved me and also provided me with POF. My question is should I be speaking with lenders in my market i plan on investing instead? Or keep the lender I already have now and start making offers in other states?

Appreciate and solid advice and any lenders in the Cleveland,OH or Milwaukee,WI area

@Giovanni Aquino

Hey came across your post. Love how simple you showed how to get started, that was exactly what I did when I got my first property . I wondering how the journey has been with not only this property but any others on your venture.

@Taylor L. I appreciate that.... I was thinking the same thing; that the team would make the procedure a lot quicker. Do you think it matters which should be found first (Agent,PM,Lender)?

Hey I’m new to the family here at BP. Looking to do my first out of state deal. I’m curious when researching out of state markets do you research and gather a team first or do you find the house you like and go from there? Taking any advice, I am fairly new to the BP app. Thanks in advance.

Hey I’m pretty new to real estate investing, I currently own a rental property I bought 3 years ago and now want to take investing serious now that I’m more familiar with the process. I love to hear stories about beginners and about getting started with a mentor.

I would love to hear where and how did you meet your first mentor. The first person that helped guide you and pointed you in the right direction or even introduced you to real estate investing.

I'm looking for a contractor known for work in the Bridgeport area of CT. I'm from NY working a 9-5 and it's hard to get out there to explain and show EXACTLY what I need fixed on weekdays. I've got in contact with a few but either they dont work with FHA 203k loans or I feel I have to chase guys down for an estimate. I currently have one contractor with an estimate and would like to have 2 more just to choose from. Should I just stick with this one (he was recommended by an agent but I am told I would have to be on him to make sure the work is getting done) or keep looking? Any tips or advice or references? This is my first investment purchase. Thanks for every and anything in advance.
