I've got my hands on a deal in Kitchener Ontario for a single family home at a sweet deal and ready and zoned for conversion

towards a triplex, in Kitchener, On

flip this property and make over $100,000 + in 6 months or buy and hold , ( great strategy would be the BRRRR strategy for this amazing place, you just need some sweat equity towards making it work as a true investment.

HI there Indy, welcome to one of the best places to learn and grow within the real estate world.

There is great value in the pod-casts within bigger-pockets and as well as meetups in different communities, and face to face with real investors that get it done, learn from the others and create some value to some in anyway possible.

lots of us investors on here are looking for everything from raising capital and partnerships which is leverage in allowing others to invest in your dream and vise-versa.( using less of your money to get more deals, you'll expand quicker)

If you're looking for more guidance and help feel free to contact me and we can show you the ease of growth and long term on being in the investments to get you towards your goals.

hi there @Colin Dunne, welcome to the world of bp

there are many ways to go about investing in real estate and the truth is that there is no wrong way of going about it.

as long as you #getstarted is the main thing, oh yes and don't lose money,

there is some great information out there is on this website as well as youtube etc.

the podcasts on here are amazing and they allow you to hear others successful stories as well as what was their motivation to get them going and continue pushing on.

i'm soon starting my own meet up here in the area and bring in people that can help along the ways through this process,

i'll keep you posted on the dates.

Hi there @Ben Le Fort , I'm a real estate sales rep as well as an investor here in Kitchener/Waterloo region.

Some people may say cash out and do your downsize , but my question to you is what is your financial picture?

Where do you see yourself on your financial goals and are you on track to get there?

There is no wrong way to go about it, as in real estate inveting .

There isn' a wrong answer , as long as you take action and do something.

If you'd like to sit down and chat over a coffee about your options I'm free for a few hours anytime.

Let's see what your options are and where you come out in a win.

As for the Kitchener market In a slow down or a down turn bubble, there is no foreeen future of the market slowing as this is the north American new Tech sector , with high paying jobs and skilled workers , this area is very much still on the rise this year yet again.

I've got a triplex in Sarnia, and currently using  Mutual Property Management company, but somehow it feels like we're getting ripped off big time.

hi there,

@Mike Oliveira , here's a few questions that I'd like to ask about your investment journey.

  1. what is your budget?
  2. are you willing to partner up and use leverage to access more deals?
  3. are there other areas that you'd like to possibly make deals work if the  numbers work?

I look forward to hearing your response.

How high is too high?

that's the beauty of Investing, you are creating your own numbers and there is no limit on the amount that you can grow to and help others do the same.

I recently had a few clients who were curious on the investing side of the spectrum, and they were wondering " How high is too high of a target to set?"

I let them know that these are your own personal  goals, there is no cheating and copying others goals, unless their numbers seem realistic.

It's up to the individual and what they want out of this real estate investing.

Remember people your goals can change, just because you set your target high or too low, as you progress, this can change, nothing is set in stone.

for myself we set our target low at first but that was 2 years ago and since then our path has changed and our target is now heading in another direction.

but no fear, we just keep pushing on to get more deals and looking to do larger deals with a JV or limited partners. details to follow.

eg. years ago i had a target of owning $10,000,000 worth of real estate, and hoped it cash flowed in the $7000/ month.

but changed the plan to now target for owning $100,000,000 worth of real estate and having a monthly cashflow of $15,000/ month minimum.

what are your targets in this world and are your targets too high?

lets start the discussion on how to help each other reach our goals, or the path we took to get there,
