@Sandeep S. thank you. I have been visiting Hayward for a few weeks now and am particularly interested in 94542 (around the university and up in the hills) and parts of 94541, closer to the BART station. However, just wanted to get some expert opinions here :)

Hello All,

I am new to BP as I have just started contemplating the idea of real estate investing. I still have my doubts on if the market is going in the next 3-4 yrs but it doesn't harm to get more information :)

Based on my personal experience, I've seen quite a few young couples moving to Hayward, CA working in the bay area recently. So, guessing if that is what the trend is going to be in the near future as well.

If any of you have insights into the city, could you please tell what areas/zip codes of Hayward are desirable if one is looking for an investment property? I know cash flow is always a challenge in/around the bay but I am ok if there are prospects of appreciation in the future.

Many Thanks
