Hi @Terry Haines

Invest in Skills,

5 years ago I was in that same position. My best long-term advice for someone who is just 22 years old is to invest in a "skill based" form of education. Acquiring a special skill will take you alot farther than investing just 15K and you will see the benefits alot faster. After you get skills. Make money from the skills and then invest that money for steady long-term wealth.

I thought this was a great video for the people who like to comment about Detroit without actually seeing these properties themselves.

Did Anyone Here See this Video from Meet Kevin ?

@Jason Brown

I know this from first hand lol. That is good to bring up. In Oakland County we have " community police ". The name says it all. They wear regular clothes and there cars are un-tagged. These guys do a better job at stopping things in the community.

@Joseph Notkin

That's really good Joseph. When the crash happened i was able to practically steal homes because they had electrical issues. Literally home flooding would be a major cause of electrical problems. Home owners would not want to pay for the expensive fix. So I would buy in at that time.

@Madison Holbrook  I had a very similar experience. There is definitely a way or second option that is similar to a cashout refi, but without having a mandatory appraisal done.  And at the same time avoiding the expensive appraisal fee and the origination fees. Most important avoiding wasting "TIME". Inbox me if you want to here my major key.

I see the same situation in a lot of the forum posts. Where people have bad comps around the appraised property and struggle to find a work around.

@Travis Biziorek  All you do is take one thing and flip it. I am not the only person who has said this on here about you.  For example, 150 words can be written and you take 4  words and turn it against them. I see how you roll.

@Travis Biziorek

The solution has not been solved yet.

and you attacked me. You tried to prove that I was wrong and embarrass me.  And I am just here to stick up for myself as you have done this countless of times without reading like other people on BP.

@Travis Biziorek If you go a little further than the first links of google. You will read articles regarding the current issues the city is having with the Demolition Rigging. LOL They can't even knock houses down right. You always get on BP and take 1 line and try to use it against someone to make yourself look inferior.

You Idiot Mayor Duggan is only laying out a vision.  This is not set in stone. Your just hoping Detroit turns out well because it is the only city you can afford to invest in.
