@Paul Defngin

Thanks for the answer. Puts me at ease. Last question if you don't mind.

If I have two tradelines and a potential lender requires 3, can I use something such as a gym membership to provide proof of constant oay history if it is for an FHA loan?

I have a question regarding providing proof of Employment when attempting to get an FHA loan.

I just relocated back to NJ from FL. From July 2017 to June 2019 I worked with the same company. From July 2017 to Dec 2018 I was 1099. Jan 2019 to June 2019 I was W2.

I am back in NJ to take a job in North Jersey in the same fiekd, however, I haven't worked since the middle of June as I am waiting to start in the middle of August at my new location.

So, will the lapse in time disqualify me from providing proof of two years working if I were to lets just say, apply one year from now? Also, because I was 1099 for those first 18-months, will that be a deterrent as well?

Thanks in advance!

I am still in the educating myself and networking stages, however, Real Estate Investing is something I am going to make work me and my future no matter what.

One common theme I have noticed is that people on BP and podcast stress the importance of somehow, someway getting taught via mentor or whatever. "Show them how you can be beneficial to them." So I have a realtor who knows that I am green as they come who is willing to meet with me via phone call tomorrow.

I don't know exactly what my main focus will be in terms of my business strategy in the future. Just trying to soak it all up now, anything that I can. I heard on a podcast a guy recommend getting your realtor license ecem if you don't plan on being a realtor. Makes sense. But that is not what I plan on doing now.

What would be the best questions to ask this individual? He knows everything that I stated above, so he is aware that I want to pick his brain about stuff other then what his particular main career path entails.

Thank you in advance!

@Cameron Tope

So then what dictates a soft pull from a hard pull? Considering one lowers your score for 2 whole years and the other is basically harmless.

@Randy Bloch

Yes, I use credit karma. I try not to obsessively look lol. I have good credit in the 700s. I was listening to a podcast the way she spoke about a " a hard pull " for whatever reason something told me to ask how long those can impact your score. Thanks for the response.

@Lance Alotti

Well, in some instances when trying to obtain a mortgage, right? 30, 20 or even 10 points can significantly impact what you are offered.. (From what I've learned) you tell me if that isn't the case .. I am still learning.

@Benjamin Tighe

Hey thanks for your response and thank you for not being afraid to relate. No college education but for lack of better words, we've all witnessed some of the "dumbest" people obtain a four year degree. I am blessed to have a very high paying job in the treatment industry so saving money there's no issue.

What type of assistance did he get?

By the way.. Thanks for your service!
