Hard Credit Pull Question

Dan Perlman

Posted

Hopefully this is in the correct forum. Not much directly correlated with "credit."

I know that full points can gey shaved off if your FICO score when someone pulls your credit score. Was just curious as to how long does it take to regain those points? Also, what is the difference between a hard and a soft pull?

Thanks in advance!

What i dont get is why so many are concernd about their credit score.   Good is good bad is bad.   Is having a 775 instead of 800 going to ruin your life?

YES!   Dear God people, relax already!!               Seriously Lance, I get this argument weekly.  "Whaaaat??!!  I'm now an 816?  Last week I was an 829!!!  What have you done to me?!?!!!"     Calm down.  If that's the worst your credit score will ever be you're still in the top percentile nationally.    785 vs 840 gets you ZERO perks or points.   Just bragging rights.
