 With the bay area being a very expensive place, how much should I initially save or does that not matter. Is there specific cities or areas I should look into first to start my journey?

Hi all, my name is Daniel Solano Wolfe and I am new to the BiggerPockets community. I'm a 21 year old living in the bay area. I am planning on starting my investment journey here as well and beginning with house hacking. I've recently been having a lot of extra free time and decided to invest all of it into learning more about real estate and investments in real estate.
