Quote from @Chase Keller:

Hey @Jan H.,
I am active in Des Moines.  I'm quite fond of the market myself.  Recently moved here myself.  I'd love to chat with you sometime about what I'm seeing in the area.  I am in multifamily as well, so we could have a lot to discuss.  Any particular product type you are interested in?

Hey@Chase Keller, can we connect? Investing in MF in Dallas TX and Chicago, IL but I’m seriously looking at Des Moines. Properties there still seem fairly priced but I need information regarding the areas and where to avoid. Would appreciate your response.

I agree with @Remington. I lived in Reynoldsburg for over 2 years and I absolutely loved it.

Thanks Brad. It’s leases and evictions and possibly tax.

First I'd be remiss if I didn't thank the BP community especially those who take the time out of their busy schedule to write posts that would come to be immensely beneficial to new investors like me. I stumbled on this community just a couple of months ago and even though this is my first post, I always read every relevant topic and binged as many podcast episodes as I could.. just never thought I was knowledgeable enough to contribute anything meaningful.. I still don't.

I am in the process of closing my first investment property in the Dallas Northwest area, a 4plex. I want to learn to be a landlord for a while before passing this on to a property manager. Any suggestion for a real estate attorney in the area?

Thanks guys!!
