Thanks for the suggestions @Mr_Cash! I've been reading quite a bit on BP since I joined less than a week ago. What extra advantages does the pro service offer? I wouldn't mind upgrading to pro if it's worth it. As far as being more specific, it's hard for me to because I want to learn it all! Foreclosures, Tax Deeds, Buy and hold, Fix and flip...everything. lol But short term, I wouldn't mind birddogging to gain experience, as long as I am continually learning. What type of REI are you into? I'd appreciate any help/advice that you can offer. You can message me or reply here, whatever is more comfortable for you. Once again, thank for replying.

I graduated college with a finance degree not too long ago. I just moved to the Houston area and recently got a job at a bank as a lending assistant. Even though I now have a good understanding of the analysis and qualifications that are required (and the fact that I'm about to get promoted to full-time lender), I really want to get into real estate.
My goals are to create positive cash flow from real estate (buy and hold, foreclosures, tax deeds, etc.)
I've been researching and reading for a little while now, but still have a lot that I want to read.
My main short-term goal is basically to just get in touch with the right people. Talk, network, meet, learn.
So if anyone in the area would like to network or offer opportunities, please feel free to contact me. I don't mind working with investors, etc and allowing them to keep most of the profits on investing deals as long as I'm learning. To me, the knowledge is far more valuable.
