I live in Hillsboro, OR and I am hoping to buy my first rental property. I would love to grab some coffee with anyone on BP who's local.

Both would be done through an FHA loan.. I am leaning more towards purchasing a duplex and fixing it up for forced appreciation however my partner is leaning more toward a single family home to flip then re-sell after a couple of years. I know they are two different things and we are both open to both just indecisive. I would like to hear others people's opinions / experiences with the two?

Hi guys :) so I'm in the beginning of my journey with investing in rental properties. Been doing all my researching and learning every day and I've saved up a good amount for a down payment through an FHA loan.. my goal was to start looking for a deal in a whole other state within the next few months but now I don't know if that's a good decision considering what's going on with Covid-19. Is every readjusting their goals/ plans? Is it smart to invest right now??
