It doesn't have to be a seasonal rental. I just know there is a strong market for that. I have no problem with year round rentals. Are there numbers I should be looking at outside of traditional SFH rentals? I don't think this is rocket science bit want to include this as part of my due diligence prior to jumping in.

I'm interested in buy and hold only. I don't know if that would come under the same FL law guidance or not. Need to research that further. Thanks for sharing.

I'm exploring purchase of mobile homes in Florida communities as "snow bird" rentals. I realize many communities have deed restrictions on age and renting. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with investments of this type. I live in KY so I would be managing from a distance and reliant on local resources. Looking for thoughts, guidance and suggestions. My background is in SFH rentals so this would be somewhat new to me. Any thoughts or input is appreciated.

This may not be a popular response but I say neither. As an executive in healthcare earning an income well in excess of six figures from my job plus REI experience is in dispensable. I only have a BA in Business Admin. However the experience I've gained and results I've delivered outweigh any degree anyone has. On the otherside as someone else said what do you love. I realize breaking into the workforce has created an environment where many young people have to pursue advanced degrees just to get an opportunity. I was lucky. I'm only 43 and have made it work without the added pan debt. Do you need the degree before jumping into REI? If so I understand and support the choice. I'd say MBA I'd you're in that position. If not go REI and forget the corporate world. Build your own life on your terms.

Finalizing my strategy with single family homes, duplexes, threeplex or fourplex. Looking to buy and hold for rental income. Five year plan to acquire 20 properties. Working out financial plan right now. Open to any advice/mentoring that can be offered.

Just found BP today. Really like what I've seen so far. Currently have one rental property. Looking to really start branching out this year. Any tips, advice, mentoring is welcome.
