Hi all - so the meetup last week went well, we had a few people show up and connect.  The overall vote was to meet again on August 13th (Monday) at Eternity Brewing again.

Hopefully those who couldn't make the July meetup can join in August!

By the way, I've setup a BP Event to try and reach some more people.

I hope everyone is still as excited to get together as I am! We've fixed the date for Monday July 9th starting at 6:30pm.

I'm waiting on a few venues to get back to me but currently thinking either Block Brewery in Howell or Eternity Brewing in Brighton.

I will set up a BP meetup once the venue is fixed.

Please continue to invite other local investors who would be interested.

And for those who can't join this first meetup, I will setup another in August.

Hi all thanks for the responses! There is definitely enough interest to kick this off.

I will work on the details this week.

Unfortunately my wife's due date is the last week in July so that's why I picked the 2 weeks earlier.

@Jeff Lubeski and @Michael Maloney Jr. thanks for the interest and confirming my thoughts. I'll see what type of responses come in this week and then fix some more details.

Thanks @Joshua B., I decided not to make an offer because there are a few extra fees that hurt the cash flow and I couldn't come up with a good idea on the attic!

Hi all!

I've been wanting to join a meetup in Livingston County, MI to network with local investors but cannot find anything that is still active or free.

So I'm thinking about starting (revitalizing?) a Livingston County MI REI Meetup for anyone who lives and/or invests in the county (Brighton, Howell, Pinckney, Hamburg, Fowlerville). No sales pitches, no fees, just socializing, connecting and learning from others experiences.

I've talked to ~10 people who would be interested but I'd like to get a feel of other BP members who would like to join.

Thinking about kicking something off in July possibly the 2nd or 3rd Monday (July 9th or 16th).

Good idea? Bad idea? Already something going on that I missed? Looking forward to everyone's feedback!
