As mentioned above, soak in as much info on the different areas of real estate investing by listening to podcasts, books, webinars, etc.

When you find an area that matches your goals in life then dive deeper into that.

There's a lot of things to learn before jumping in, good luck!

Hi BP community!

I'm currently under contract for my first duplex in SE Lansing, MI near Holt.

Since I am not local to this area, I am looking for some recommendations for plumbers & electricians to fix a few small things and help in the future.

Also, I checked the events page & have not seen a Lansing meetup for January - anyone aware of a group that meets regularly?
