Thank you for this informaiton! I have some things to seriously consider now. These tenants are new they have only lived here 2 months... these are my first tenants and I really do not know how to feel. I know I don't want them to stay if they cannot pay following rent on time.

I have a property manager for my property in Maryland who sent me the email below about the tenants need to pay rent late. Please help me with this.... I do not want to start a trend of allowing these renters to pay late and I'm concerned if they will even be able to pay the next months rent on time. Also what are my options for the state of Maryland as far as getting these tenants out if I have to go that route? -------- Please be advised that I was recently informed that one of the tenants has suffered a life threatening injury late last month. This did not happen at the property. The tenant is still recovering and has not yet been released to return to work. Though the necessary paperwork was submitted for disability the payments have not yet started. Therefore, the June rent will be paid in 2 payments. One prior to the 15th and the other prior to June 30th.- Please help !
