Hi Kathy,

I grew up in The Berkshires and have been an agent for the last 3 years in this area and investing for the last 5. I'd be happy to chat with you about the area. Please feel free to PM me and I am sure I can answer all you questions.

Hi Vince,

Welcome to the site! I live and invest in the area. I am currently an agent and my main focus is fix/flips. Haven't got into multi-family homes yet, but I do plan on it in the near future. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

I tried dealing with them last year for a short sale for one of my clients. I had an offer signed and ready to go. Took me 3 months to actually get ahold of someone that could give me answers. I sent the offer in and waited and got no response for about a month. Continued to have the same trouble of getting ahold of someone that could help me. Finally I get in touch with someone that could give me answers and she tells me the property is going to auction tomorrow. My client never did get the property. It has been listed and sold since. But what an ordeal it was trying to work with them.

Joel Owens Thanks for all the info Joel! I'll definitely read up on it a bit more on agentsonline to see if it's something I would actually like to do.

Hey all, I was just wondering how all of you REO agents started out and got listing from asset managers. Since I invest in foreclosures and I'm an agent. I wanted to know what steps to take to potentially get listings down to road. Do I just sign up on all the REO sites? What extra could I be doing on equator.com? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is correct, we originally bought the house as a foreclosure.
