I just want to circle back around to this for a minute... because I am not sure why the OP @Daniel Quezada made the original post and comments about losing his money and not being able to get it back??

His original post was:

2-3 weeks ago i attended a Free Seminar- Winning the property wars with doug hopkins........they convinced me to purchase the 3-day Real Estate Accelarator workshop for $2,000 ......they also made purchasing tax liens seem very very lucrative through there "tax liens buyers club" so i gave into there bait and that was $997. ......Has anybody gone to the workshop and been able to get your $2000 refund?....... So upset at myself for falling for this stupid $3,000 trap just to pitch us another sale...Has anybody been able to successfully get a refund past the "3day no questions asked" policy???

Then he posted about calling the company and they gave him his money back .... this happed prior to the original posting. So why the bash session? Sounds like the company gave him his cash back, and the education for free. How can you beat that?

Hope it all works out for you! Good luck. I just have to question the $500 in repairs, but of course I have not seen the home or even pictures. In my market, you can't even get a faucet replaced for that amount. So it must be a cherry house. Wishing all the best!!

I went to a similar 'Money Grab' event... mine cost me 100k and 4 years of training. When I got done I didn't even use the skills I had been 'tricked' into paying for... and nobody held my hand and made me a million dollars 1-day out of training. They expected me to do the work myself! Then took every dime I had to my name - every year... what a rip-off!! 

It was called College. 

Education is something a lot of people are willing to pay for, some aren't and use self-education (like this site). Either you use the skills and systems you are taught, or you don't. Your choice to pay, and your choice to play.

I always use the most trusted contractors and professionals. When you comes to roofing you need to use people who have experience and know what they are doing. I always use Weston Roofing and it's been great. Local tempe guy.
