@Phil McAlister

In a perfect world this works. I’ve seen deals work smooth as silk as your stating.

However then the deal rolls around where it takes just a touch more calorie burn during normal working hours....

If you have the time the extra time on your hands and have a full knowledge of the contracts it’s definitely a money saver.

Only question. How much is your time worth?

I’m a Realtor (full disclosure Laugh Out Loud!!!)

Jake Walroth my daughter has little to no credit score because she has never had credit. This was where I believe we might hit a half partition wall.

Have a question for house hack.  I have a 18 yoa daughter that is going to college out of town.  Her W2 income is small due to sports and studies.  My question is could we co-sign for her on the house hack and have it as her primary residence?  We as her parents have the Landlord experience going on 5 years now to be able to show the other 2 units as income.

This will allow her credit to sore and allow us as parents to show her what its like first hand instead of her watching us to it as we have so far.

FHA co-signing is the big QUESTION?

Jeff Filali I'm in NE Oklahoma would be interested in some excess you have up this way. Excellent information and awesome your open source as we all are here on BP. Great source of people grinding for the future. For me RE is a no Brainer due to not ever needing to retire from it like a regular career Okie .02
