Anyone here familiar with Eagle, Wisconsin? My Mom has a house there and she is wondering if it has rental potential if she ever moves out in the future. If anyone has references to agents, lenders, and property managers I would love to connect with them.

@Jason Grote I'm looking for similar recommendations. Anybody else have recommendations for local banks/lenders that may offer lines of credit.

Anyone have experience working directly with Chase bank for getting a loan? They are offering 100,000 points for sapphire reserve card holders:

I've always used brokers instead, but 100,000 points is intriguing. That's worth at least $1,500 and could be a lot more depending on the strategic use of the points.

I'm looking to house hack by purchasing a multi-family property as my primary residence.

@Travis Sperr Thanks for the feedback. I'd love to hear which areas you feel are the best cash flow opportunities in the metro area?

Hi All,

I'm looking at houses for buy and hold in the Aurora area, blocks away from Utah Park. I'm out of state so trying to learn more about the area. Anyone have thoughts on this area. It seems to be up and coming, but still in the early stages. Is it a safe neighborhood that renters would be willing to live in?

When I say south/southwest, more of a central focus. Basically 78741 all the way out to Beecaves, and then looking south to around Buda (although trying to avoid going south of William Cannon).

@Kris Wong agree with that. I'm looking more in the South/Southwest area and just finding it really tough. I've been going back and forth on moving into a SFH vs. MFH because I figure appreciation will be more on SFH, but cash flow will be easier on MFH. I like the idea of house hacking an MFH, but a lot of MFH on market right now don't come close to cash flow once you move out. Hoping the inventory of houses picks up in April/May with Summer so there are some more options out there.

@Kris Wong I agree with your plan. However, are you seeing good deals for house hacking?

I'm in a similar position as @Jeff T. and I'm having trouble finding MF units that make a lot of sense.
