With members who have experience in this space and in this area, what are some lenders that you have used  for financing multi families <20 units and how did you go about finding them?

Hi all,

Is it possible to get a commercial loan on a portfolio of single family houses? That way I would not have to deal with 10 different mortgages? Or would this be classified as a residential loan due to the types of properties I would be purchasing?

I'm looking at a deal in Atlanta, GA and I am trying to see if this option would be possible?

When looking into a new market, does anyone know the best resource to use to find out who the biggest employers in the market are? I've been using city data for diligence but have not been able to find a breakdown of largest employers for the markets I am looking into.

@Deborah Pyburn Hi Deborah! Yep! Still investing and just closed on a couple last month. Up to 6 now and will hopefully be under contract for another this month. Curious on how to enter into multi families in the GA area. How have you been?

Hi All,

I'm in the process of purchasing a Single Family House with 2 other partners. The 2 other partners would be putting the majority of the capital down and I would be the general manager. If we created an LLC for the partnership, would it be possible to get financing for the LLC if we all placed a Personal Guarantee on the mortgage and we were considered strong borrowers?
