Where you able to find a business like this?

This is a dream of mine and I am looking more and more into everyday, but would love to hear examples from someone with experience.

Do you live onsite?

@Alicia Marks   I would like a book on Resorts like Tony Robinson did, include the camp grounds and RV parks, what you would need for that, loan types, living onsite vs offsite, hiring, things like that.

If there is any books like this already, please let me know!
Thanks!

If you only plan on doing a few units in your life time then maybe a free lancer would be fine, but if you want to expand over time I would look into a real bookkeeper who you could build a relationship with overtime so when you scale they can be prepared with you and if you get bigger then they can handle there can be an easy transition to a new bookkeeper/Accountant.

Let me know if you have any questions on it.

Good luck!

@Nathan Holt

I'm sorry to hear that you have to deal with this from people who used to be on your side.

This is a hard lesson business owners have to learn, my Wife and I have her Equine Coaching/Bookkeeping Business and I have Real Estate and we have lots of people from our families who have been unsupportive including my mom, which is very hard. With the friends who don't support me in my choices to better myself, I stop talking to them and just let them go without burning the bridge, with Family, I annoy them with what I am doing and want to do and make that all i talk about so they leave me alone or I leave with the last word on having support from others on what I want to do. Which has worked out well.

We have an Instagram that I showcase my Real Estate and and IG and FB for my wife's business. That is the only thing i post on my FB anymore I don't use it much for anything that I care about except pictures of nieces and nephews. My wife's FB gets a lot of our family commenting things like "oh you smart" "have a fun trip leaving" "what are you doing for the holidays" Things that shouldn't be commented on a business post, we do our best to brush it off or delete it and move on.

Feel free to DM me and we can talk about it and more you could expect from branching off the beaten path.

Good luck man!

@Jimmy Good

Congrats on the move!

My wife and I live here in Denver (GVR Area) and love to meet with people and network with like minded people and business owners!

We are Entrepreneurs by heart and have goals to build over the long term!

We have a small "Master Mind" group we created with some other people we networked with where we talk Real Estate, business, and help each other out with the goals and dreams we have as well as, vent about the problems we have gone through. We are all at early stages and have more then just Real Estate we are pursuing too but we try and meet monthly and are always looking for more people!

From experience, it is all nerve racking when you get started and there is nothing wrong with feeling that way!

Good luck on your journey!
