@Nick Rutkowski

From what I see it’s poor management and not enough people on site

@Michael Plante

No. He promised to finish this in 5 months. We are 4 months in now and just started electrical. Electrician say he needs 3 weeks and I just saw one person working on Friday.

he keeps telling me things are on track and I just realized it is very far from truth

Hey all

I am working with a GC that ignores the timeline and payment terms set forth in the contract and is generally unresponsive. Project is behind by 2-3 months for what was 5 month project. I was told that finding another GC is difficult as they need to assume responsibility for the work that is already done - we added some new foundation, slab, new structural beams on first floor. And that I have to talk to the GC before I can fire him. Anyone been through a similar situation and how did that turn out?
