Congratulations!!!!

The fact you are thinking about this opportunity is certainly the second biggest step in your investment career. The biggest step?…… Is actually following through with this!

I understand that you are doing your due diligence before you make a large decision, which means you’re already making decisions like an investor.

Take it from me.  I “taught myself” for four Years before finally signing up for Jake and Gino. Sure, I learned a lot on my own, but was I making the traction I wanted? No.

Success leaves clues, and to think you can simply teach yourself everything without taking on the knowledge of people that have done it before you… Is a recipe to hold yourself back 10 to 20 years… or maybe never start at all

I’ve read many comments here, and it’s unfortunate that people have had bad experiences with coaches and/or mentorship programs.   Does that mean they are all bad?

In your life… you’ve had a bad French fry.  Did you give up on French fries completely?    There will always be bad seeds or options that don’t work out.

But Jake and Gino coaching is not one of them.

Go with your gut.   I’m hoping that same gut that digested the follow-up tasty French fries is also the gut telling you to go with Jake and Gino.

Make it happen!!

@Collin Schwartz You’re a machine. Everything you do for the investment community in the Omaha area is appreciated. Keep leading by example, Sir!
Curious of a good contact on financing 5+ unit apartments with the 30 year amortized Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac loans. My local banks do not have knowledge in this area, and perhaps that makes sense as the local banks often don’t deal in this area as it is a federal loan. My investments are in Omaha. Thanks for the input!!!

Hello Maurice.  The only items they are working on are the business credit cards and the inquiries from banks on my recent purchases.

I'm honestly not worried about the personal information being shared.  Maybe that's ignorance.

Update: I am STILL waiting on Kaydem Credit (affiliated with Fund and Grow) to wipe the business transactions from my credit inquiries.  Amazed with how slow and unproductive this process is.

$80k for first round.  The second round, I'm informed, isn't until 6 months later, which for me is in 2 months.

They are business lines of credit in that they are under a business, so you personal access to credit is not affected; however, the credit pull for each inquiry to open the credit card DOES affect your credit.  With 4 card (inquiries) it reduced my credit score by about 25 points.

Fund and Grow's sister company Kaydem Credit Help, although I think they are owned and operated by the same company (because of my frustration, I have no proof), has still not removed these inquiries from my credit report, so my credit score is still at least 25 points less than it should be.

I’ve participated in this program and I have mixed reviews. I was able to access credit lines totaling approximately $80,000, and that is principal only for 12 to 18 months depending upon the card. That is the good news. The bad news is that this whole “doesn’t affect your credit” advertisement is completely misleading. First, fund and grow does not help you alleviate the negative affects on your credit. They ask you to pay a second business that helps you remove these inquiries off your credit report. Find and grow will supply guidance on how to remove these inquiries so that you do not need to use the second business (Kaydem Credit Help), but the process isn’t very easy at all. Worst of all, I chose to go with the business that helps remove these inquiries and they have been unable to remove these from my credit report for the last four months. I am in my “third round” of this second business trying to help me remove these inquiries off my credit report, so I do not have a finality to this issue. My credit was definitely affected from the additional lines of credit to this date. Another negative aspect is that the “access to cash” is completely misleading as well. They speak of credit card companies that send you balance transfer checks or cash checks that are as good as cash, but none of the four businesses that I got my credit cards through offered that. They also offer an opportunity to buy gold and then sell it back a few days later in hopes that the value of gold did not go down. There are fees associated with purchasing and selling precious metals and this took me over a week and a half and I actually lost $500 on this. The gentleman I spoke with at fund and grow said that he would do more research for me on how I could get access to cash, But is troubling that they advertise access to cash as if it were extremely easy. I have great credit and very stable, relatively high income, so there should be no reason I should be affected like this. Overall I give the entire process, thus far, a B-

I really appreciate the feedback from both of you.  I'm really interested in "tax planning," and my experience with CPAs are them as historians, where they look at what I've done and file taxes accordingly.  I need guidance on what to do moving forward.  Much of my research has revealed that tax and business attorneys can be great for that strategy.  I appreciate the info!
