Hey gang,
I'm wrapping up my first Flip (property I bought in Maryland), which I bought and plan to sell under the LLC I created in Virginia earlier this year. I was told I needed a registered Agent in Maryland. Can someone point me in the right direction as to a particuliar company/service I should use? Any advice would be beneficial.
Thanks!

Hey Gang,
Anyone recommend a cheap, but thorough cleaning person/company they have used after renovations to get property ready for listing? The property is in Temple Hills, MD.
Thanks,
--Chris

if the weed block works and I get it sealed, is the seal solid enough to prevent further weed penetration? What would be a rough estimate to replace this 10' × 30' disaster? I imagine double to remove the newly laid asphalt ?

Maximum Paving....located out of F'burg, VA....
It's been about 2 weeks since the death in the family
I was thinking of using weed killer myself but wanted contractor to resolve issue. Looking as if that probably won't happen.

Property is in MD, Contractor primary does business in Northern VA, (So it is out of state, but the DMV area is easily connected and not uncommon for people/contractors to live/work in one state and commute to the other)
I found their Web page online after several searches. It appears I debt with the son of the owner of the company. After negotiating a price he aid he old so it for that price when he had another job in the vicinity to save money now materials/labor. I think he just cut corners, didn't install proper weed barrier do didn't make it 3" compacted so stated in error contract.
I didn't ask for references (my mistake) and I believe the license number was on the contract, I will check tonight. Contract states. 2 year warranty.
I found a related website bashing the company from a disgruntled customer who attempted to contact their lawyer and had no success. He said address and Info on contract was false/out dated.

I would hae been satisfied with the sealant that covers the surface and makes everything a uniform black color at no extra charge, which the contractor promied via text and an additional contract. But the root and weeds growng through the ashphalt are totally un acceptable. Thanks for your input @Wayne Brooks, I will begin the process by contacting the county court office and see what I need to do to proceed.

Hey Gang,
I hired a paving/ashphalt company to pave the driveway of an investment property. Paid $1500 in two installments, and am completely unsatisfied. At first there was some stones/pebbles mixed in the top layer of the asphault in a 10 foot section. Contractor said its normal, but would at not cost to me come back out in two weeks and put a topcoat/seal on it, covering everything in black to make it look uniform. Since then weeds are growing through the so called "3 inch thick" surface. From what I understand, there should have been a layer of weed block paper to prevent this. The contractor (who appears to be the son of the owner of the company) has apologized and said he would be out to fix this issue. But the day he was supposed to come out, he had a "death in the family" and had to leave town. He should have been back in town by now and I want to know what is the best way to proceed to take them to court? Do I file a suit in the county of the Investment house is in, even though the company is located elsewhere? Do I need to find the business address, and or license number to proceed in court? Any advice and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Gang,
I'm closing on my 1st deal next week in Temple Hills MD and was looking for recommended contractors (Electrician, Plumber, Drywall framer, HVAC) that have worked with Investors before. Quality work, and dependability are a must.
Thanks in Advance,
Chris
