Hi! My name is Cindy Murdoch. I have been hiding in the background for a couple weeks now, trying to learn as much as I can. My husband and I are new to Real Estate Investing and have much to learn. We live in Cross Roads and will be looking for real estate in the north DFW area to get started. Looking forward to learning a lot and getting ready for that first deal!

 I know that I have much to learn and I am eager to learn from others. And I am old enough to understand that I can learn from others, including from their mistakes. So please feel free to share whatever you think would be beneficial to get started and keep the momentum going.

We have joined a couple networking groups in the area, but I am open to checking others out if someone thinks they have a great group to be involved in.  I look forward to meeting some of you at those meetings.

I am excited to begin this journey. I know it will not always be easy, but it will be worth it. As Brandon quoted in the webinar yesterday, "Life does not get better by chance. It gets better by change!" I am embracing that change. 

I am totally new to this ... have not even purchased first property. But an option I would look at is to make the dining room the bedroom with a door to existing closet. Take down wall between living and kitchen, making the living the new dining. Then make the bedroom1 the new living area. Upstairs, you could make a hall from the stairs walking forward, turning right passing thru closet for bedroom 2. Hallway terminates at bedroom 3. Add a new door from hallway to bedroom 2, and add a closet to bedroom 2 possibly beside the stairs.

My picture isn't pretty, but I think it conveys the idea.

Just some thoughts.
