An owners rental policy is what they called it here in Pa. It's basically full coverage on structure only. No content. I was paying $5200 a year on my home in Miami before I left. Here I pay $500. The last house I flipped here was about the same. I'll have to check out TAPCO. Thanks for the tip guys.

I'd like to get some rate info from any fix and flippers in the Gulf Coast area. I will be in that area for a wedding at the end of the month and will be doing some recon. I'm looking for fix and flips. I lived in Miami up until 2006. I know the options for Insurance were limited and expensive back then.
I will be looking for SFH approx 1500sf and under. West of 41. What is required nowadays for nonres-rental policy? If your familiar with rates. Windstorm, flood etc...
Who is writing policies? Any info you could post would be greatly appreciated.

I try not to get to political. I do like the way Sam Zell conducts himself. He says what he means and means what he says. No BS.

Patrick! Dude! Really? I'm not trying to date his sister. I bump into him occasionally in town. Besides, he is an economist. I could care less about what phylosophy he follows. Whether big Gov or small gov. All I care about is the RE market.
He gives his opinion and the knuckleheads in the Congress do their best to ignore it.
