Thanks to both of you for really opening up, being real, and sharing your stories here. I love this post because I can relate to it on so many levels. You both have motivated and inspired me, as has cranking out this post.

Last Spring I left a 16 year career in the commercial maritime industry. My life used to be spent GONE half of the year away from family friends and LIFE, in the middle of the ocean on a tanker ship moving millions of dollars of oil to feed the pockets of giant corporations. I love the ocean and there were moments that were priceless and wouldn’t trade anything for them but the time is gone and that’s the point here. Time is irreplaceable. I want to best utilize my time, not just be busy or have somewhere to be fulfilling some sort of false sense of purpose. Yes of course I want to make a lot more money but not to buy fast cars or shiny things but so I can enjoy my time here on this earth without financial worry. I’m willing, able, educated, and eager to put in the hard work to build systems of wealth and passive income and truly believe I’m on the brink of bringing this to fruition.

My wife and I were moments away from signing on a house that we never really wanted and conforming to a typical monotonous lifestyle. I saw the light and want to help others from falling in this trap. I have a pretty solid game plan but its ever evolving and that’s a good thing because it prevents complacency.

I too am about to become a real estate agent with a couple weeks left of class. Beyond the seeking of a greater education of the industry and getting in the trenches, like @Account Closed and the very best success in your new journey!

If you ever make your way to Stamford, CT look me up!

^ I completely agree with the above.

SEO will take you a lot of time to research and learn and a lifetime to stay on top of and up to date.

That said, good SEO work isn't cheap.  You are going to get what you pay for.  Also agree that there is effort needed to be put into content/blog on the site for SEO to work.   Some SEO consultants can help with this in one stop shopping but then you have to ask yourself how much control do you want on the quality of content on YOUR website

We are looking for recommedations for agent/broker/realtor in the Fairfield County Connecticut area.

Wanting to build a relationship with someone who understands REI. Our first goal is to invest in a multi family and house hack for at least a year, probably using FHA loan if possible.

What better way to really get involved and committed than having to actually live with/in my first investment.
