I'm from MN as well. Have you heard of MNReia? They are the MN real estate investors association, they have a meeting coming up on the 6th of December. If you are interested in attending I can send you a guest pass.

Be careful waiving the home inspection contingency unless you fully understand the condition of the home. You will inherit any major issues that turn up with little recourse without an inspection.

Hi Adam,

Have you considered investing as a Joint Venture partner with other investors in that area. You could get a nice return on your investment while your partner does the leg work in Denver.

@Sarah Jealouse I agree with @Ruth Bayang. Start with community college, it is a great entry into higher learning that can transition easily into a 4 yr program if you decide to go that route. You can still invest in real estate while attending school, and college will give you tools for critical thinking that you will need.
