I'm interested too - and found that they are an asset (take low level, repetitive, database tasks off your plate) IF there are systems/processes in place to give them EXACTLY what they need to do and how to do it... i.e., I tried the other way (piecemeal system, trying to loom a couple videos and talk them through what I wanted)-- NOT GOOD. But if you have leads from propstream or somewhere and you want them skiptraced, I did fiverr and it's .05 a lead... Now I'm trying to see how to get around FCC law of 'opt-in' requirement prior to mass texting... So, ultimately, hiring a VA forces you to have some organization/plan/clear process prior to them coming on-board BUT if you pay a VA $1000 and you close 1 deal netting $5 or 10k, its a no brainer

Thank you!  that's GREAT information... And yes - I've backed off startvirtual since my systems weren't quite ready and they were gracious about that... I'm working through filters with propstream and then podio for CRM... but how are you getting around the FCC law that bans mass texting unless there is a (prior) opt-in from the people we're mass texting to?  was ready to get twilio and send a couple thousand but now I'm thinking I'm violating some FCC law...

Hello bp community: we're revving up our wholesale business and getting things started with startvirtual.com...  They seem great but I've got to decide on a SMS (for bulk texting) and wondering what others are using...  And btw, the startvirtual advisor said going w/ batchdialer and batchleads is good since they are integrated as a dialing system and a CRM respectively so that's I'm looking into also...  If anybody has any recommendations I'd be much obliged :))  Thanks so so much from a mom in the sticks of NorthEast Texas :)

HUGE inspiration as I'm sorta similar- me+husband IN business w/ 27 doors and debated about him quitting and then he got laid off before Thanksgiving so here we are!!!... Re-read E-myth re-visited and hiring our first ever legit employee (office assistant future COO) after finding bp 2 months ago... BIG questions re. software/subscription/social media setup as we prepare to scale... Thank you for posting and I am following eagerly and intently!

Exactly where I'm at in NE Texas-- asked a realtor to run last 90 days all-cash buys and said couldn't do it

... So after reading a bp article about what title companies can do, I'm looking to build relationships with a couple receptive ones in town and they could provide that 'quid pro quo' info...

A really rudimentary way is to just filter a really low dollar amount, e.g. <$150k since they are likely cash deals...  Definitely following and encouraged someone else is where I'm at (even though I've got 27 doors there is ZERO system so wholesale is where I'm starting to build processes, delegate and create some traction).

Thank you from investor rdy to scale from SFH's to mult-family (so that means reaching out of my Texarkana TX/AR market that's under 200k pop.) I have actually printed this out and have highlighters out ready to take notes -- LOL!! I love bullet points and breakdowns like this -- and 'Lessons Learned' is KILLER -- gonna use that on our systems/team building side as part of our meetings/mentoring-- so relevant and smart. Onward and Upward -- bp rocks!

If you don't mind I will DEFINITELY keep your #... and would love to have a chance to pick your brain a bit more sometime in the new year... We are hiring our first employee on Dec 1 2021 so that is momentous -- really seeing God's hand in all of this... So systems creation and team building are my BIG tasks...  BTW, I'm sort of getting stuck on the vision for our company, i.e. trying to see what it should/will look like when it's done...  But I feel that's so critical because I've read so much that I need to guide the business that direction from the start...  So just seeing if you have any advice about starting w/o a clear-cut vision...  We've got values: God, Family, Giving, Faith.  and mission is still being developed but something like 'using our resources and position as a real estate investing company to enrich our community, reach the unsaved, empower the saved and equip the church'

I AM IN THIS BOAT TOO!!! -- so thank you for the sharing: bp podcasts have been PIVOTAL for shifting mindset -- #483 5 things to build 1M Rental Portfolio.  -- But there's SO MANY for whatever would peak their interest and just get a crack - a pinhole of light breaks thru a whole sky of darkness...  And mine is a numbers guy -- so #527 Creative Financing was SO COOL...  it's so cliche but so true... -- getting to see differently -- in your mind -- that's where it starts... when the what if's change to let's reverse engineer and see what we can/need to do this year, this month, this week...  and agreed: PATIENCE (and faith) are key.
