Welcome @Peter Reyes

My wife and I are investors from Easley which is right next door.  We also own our on brokerage so if we can ever be of assitance let me know.

Plenty of great info on this site so good luck with all you do.

If you have a Wells Fargo near you, get a Wells Fargo Business Deposit Card (WFBDC) they can use at any WF ATM machine. Other banks may have similar type products. Tenant does not need a checking account at WF or anywhere else. They just deposit cash to the ATM using the WFBDC and get a receipt. You get credited on the date/time of the payment. A+ product from my perspective for under-banked and unbanked tenants.

This has worked great for us.

@Daniel Threlfall,  welcome to the site.  Listen to the podcast and start setting up keyword alerts.  We will hopefully have another meetup soon so watch out for that too.

Welcome @Jessica V.,  There is lots of info on this site and you will find it to be a great resource.  Start listening to all the podcast.  Also setup keywords for the areas you are interested including Greenville so hopefully you will get notified of our next meetup.  My wife and I invest in rentals and also rehab to build capitol to grow our portfolio.  We started a small independent brokerage last year so if we can be off assistance just let me know.

Depending on the price point we have painted it,  covered with 1/4 drywall, and realized there was drywall under it so tore it down.  The 1/4 drywall seems to be the most efficient way to get rid of it/cover it.  Most of our lower price homes we just paint it and have never received a negative comment about it.

Welcome @Justin Smith.  This is a great site and you should learn a lot.  Set up your keywords for your area of interest and also include Greenville so you will be updated about any future meetups we have.
