@Sheri Lowrance

I manage a vacation rental home in hollywood beach. If you have the right staff in place it may be doable for you to manage from afar.

I doubt you can find a condo complex on the east coast that allows vacation rentals

@Madeline J.

Check fema flood maps and look for properties in flood zone x. Careful cause these maps have changed in the past. Ps Hollywood is built on a swamp in some areas. I would google florida sink holes to get an idea.

One nice thing is that surf road prevents big developments allowing the beach to have sun all day.

How's Portland?

@Sam Goldsmith

I am not sure we can recreate the reaction of a previous landlord when asked about their tenant. Sometimes you have to pull it out of them how a tenant really was.

Sometimes it's hard to get landlords on the phone. Most give me a run around. Like send me an email or call my office...

Maybe something can be built to verify current and past employment using pay stubs.

This probably could be used for other industries as well.

I am always looking to build these types of applications. The problem is usualy gaining traction.

Thank you fo your help

@Vincent Moore

Hey,

I would calculate the interest you pay in both scenarios whichever is lower wins. Get them to provide amortization schedules for both. Probably a good idea to have an attorney look at all the loan documents
