@David Kafel  Welcome and thanks for joining the BP community. Just as @Brandon Turner and @Edward Synicky said, it is a great place to learn and expand your knowledge in real estate investing.

Your background with construction and a degree in architecture should help you tremendously. Good luck!

@Corby Goade  Welcome to BP. There is a ton of information here; Every time I think I've "gotten it down" with a certain niche, there is always another bit of great advice that pops up. Make sure to also check out the Bigger Pockets podcasts if you aren't already.

I appreciate the warm welcome everybody.

@Brandon Turner ...The man himself! Great to see someone in your position, and as busy as you are, still take the time out to welcoming new members. Thanks for the welcome, and for sharing those articles.

Hey everybody, my name is John, or JJ as most call me. I have been a registered BP user for maybe a year or so now, but don't think I ever formally introduced myself.

I heard about BP from a friend about two years ago, and started listening to the podcasts very frequently. I also skimmed through the site once in a while, but never really engaged myself in the topics and discussion. About two weeks ago something re-sparked my interest in wholesaling, and eventually rehabbing real estate. Since then I have devoured any material I could get ahold of until I understood every step of the various processes.

I look forward to getting much more advice from everybody here as well as contributing my own as I move further along in the real estate business! I have taken steps to action and got out of my analysis paralysis mindset; I have a goal set to close my first wholesale deal before 2015....I will keep you all updated ;)
