Hello BP members,

could you recommend good tax advisors in Kalamazoo, Michigan?

Thank you,

Chang

thank you so much for your response!

Hi BP members,

I have around $800k to invest. what would be the best investment that you would consider. I am moderately risk tolerant. Hope to have some creative ideas and would like to know good investment opportunities out there.

@Angel Ginnett

Thank you. No I have not signed any documents. It may have been easier to figure out if there was.

@Forrest Faulconer

Thank you so much. I will ask him. I was wondering if there is any certain amount or percentage that is commonly applied for this service in this business.

Hello BP members,

I am working with a realtor to find deals. This realtor suggested to go to auction houses and ask owners (or present tenants) to show the inside of houses and participate in auction if I like. He will come with me to visit houses and help with auction, too.

I have not done this type of deal, and this is my first time working with him. It sounds like pretty good idea, but i cannot help thinking what the realtor gets in this? Or how much do you pay realtors for this type of service? Am I missing some sort of hidden fees?

I will appreciate if you share your thoughts and experience.

Thank you!

@Will Fraser

Thank you for your advice. I already read ‘Estimating Rehab Costs’ book, but I will read ‘Flipping Houses’ and ask again if I have further questions.

Hello,

I am planning my first flipping house, and would like to know how much rehabs will cost. Do you bring general contractors to houses before writing offers to buy it? How do you know how much it will cost for rehabs? I already read the book by Scott, but as a newbie, I am afraid to solely rely on what I read from the book. Also afraid that I may miss major troubles while inspecting houses on my own.

Also, I heard so many horrible stories about hiring contractors. Can I ask your advice for how to connect with good contractors? Would you recommend good contractors in or near Kalamazoo, MI?

Thank you so much in advance!

@Mark Reyes

Thank you for the advice.

@Shannon Robnett
