@jscott Thank you, I'm glad you got a smile out of it.

@Raymond B. Great idea, buy a rental up there and make her property manager.

@Dawn Anastasi Thank you, Bumping the asking rent by 50%

I expect the MH to make much more than 16%

I have my fingers crossed on the life lesson.

I'm sure the dog will have a great life when I find her a home

The 22 year old is my Granddaughter, I will soon be Great Grandpa!

Lost a renter at the end of August, still refurbishing the home. Doors missing, carpets filthy, shower walls rotten, paint, broken windows, general cleaning, more paint, uggh.

Today the renter at another house tells me they are moving out This one is missing doors, filthy, fortunately only one carpet. (Yes they were related)

Just maxed out my LOC to buy a MH in Alamogordo (16% interest).

My Granddaughter got herself kicked out of her mother's house and wants help with rent.

Dog hasn't died! Unfortunately it's not my dog and I need to find a home for it. Anyone want a beautiful brown female Mastiff, un-spayed?

And if anyone in Northern Illinois has a home for a 22 year-old female (pregnant), please let me know!

Actually bought the MH/land cash. The lady living there came up with half, I took the rest out of my Line of Credit (16% ouch). May try to re-fi or sell outright once I get all the paperwork back. Thinking maybe a re-fi to pay her off with interest.

The two I'm trying to re-fi now are going to be about 5.25% , I forget the points, will check on it. One is $58,000 and the other $48,000.

Just thought I would update. I dropped this one for now in favor of the $6,000 MH in Alamogordo. Of course this is the month that two current tenants decide to move out out of four tenants total, kind of glad I passed that one up. Spending most of my time preparing these two for re-rental.

Post: Mobile/MH home in New Mexico as vehicle or Real Property

I just bought a 1994 2bed 2bath mobile/manufactured on it's own property for $6000 with a friend of mine. It will be a rental when she moves out, in this area $400-$500 would be a good price that should get it rented quickly. It does need a bit of repair to the roof and fixing up in the master bath. The property is on tax rolls at $10,000, the MH is listed at $14,000 and still has vehicle title. I was wondering if I should go ahead and turn it into Real Property or keep it as a vehicle in case I decide to sell it off.

It's been a month since the last update. I really hope you have good news. By the way, can you post the names so we will be prepared if they come our way?
