Some areas you may want to consider are: Arvada, wheat ridge, highlands ranch, Littleton, centennial, lone tree. Going north Thornton Northglenn and Broomfield could also be of interest to you.

I started real estate investing in 2015 by purchasing a duplex in Milwaukee WI. I now own 4 short term rental properties in Denver with partners and a 5th STR arbitrage, aka renting it from the owner and airbnb'ing the property and collecting the difference.
My team also just went live with 8 STR in Tempe AZ. We are focusing on STR arbitrage at the moment to increase cash flow to be able to buy more properties.
