Another Real Estate junkie based in NYC right here. Would love to talk real estate and connect.

I have my RE salesperson license and reside in New York City. Honestly, the only benefit of having a license in terms of wholesaling is full access to the MLS. However access to the MLS is not cheap ($400 - $600). Instead, a better benefit is to find a few salespersons in a large realty company, have them send you "off-market" listing. This beats the MLS because it takes about 7 - 14 days for a home to be on the MLS and another couple days for it be listed on zillow, redfin, etc. If you can catch a home before it reaches the MLS you have an easier chance of obtaining a property wholesale-worthy.

@Jerry W. Yea I am looking for owners, actually to gain their business and become the listing agent for their newly vacant apartments. So when I look for cases where the owner was a plantiff do I need to know a plantiff name or can I just see all the plantiffs for a date range

I heard that evictions go on public records and I would like to know where can I look at this list
