My dad just made me his property manager recently. I wasn’t aware of the situation until today. My father is 78 and told me when the guy told him this he didn’t say anything because he’s just too old to be arguing. So I told him today, NO we are not going to allow him to just pay him $1400 for being a helper and on top of that he volunteered to help. So the reason why nothing was done for December‘s rent is because my dad never said anything to me or anyone until now.
I have a renter who decided to pay himself the rent value for helping to fix a plumbing leak. My father took a few guys with him to work on the piping and wall plastering on one of the houses. The tenant of that residence offered to help and told my dad that he doesn’t have to pay him just give him whatever he feels his work is worth if he wants. Come rent time, he told my dad he was paying himself December’s months rent!!
Mike Cumbie I agree with you. Many of the older generation and "heavy hitters" still use business cards. My father is 78 years old and he is one of those investors that isn't too big on technology and uses business cards as well as requests them. He doesn't frown upon your use of technology, but he does frown upon those who don't have readily available cards. He doesn't do the website thing so having him go find you on LinkedIn is a loss of a deal for you cause he won't go looking for you.
Has anyone tried PropertyBuddy?
I'm also interested in helpful apps for property management. Has anyone tried PropertyBuddy?

Does anyone use portable printers for onsite printing of documents? If so, what printer do you recommend? I find myself needing to print while I'm away from home so I'm just curious as to what you do in those situations short of going to Staples/Office depo to print.

Does anyone use portable printers for onsite printing of documents? I'm sure you'd need a Bluetooth printer to your cell. If so, what printer do you recommend? I find myself needing to print while I'm away from home so I'm just curious as to what you do in those cases.

I would call the dirty and ask them what you need to do to get the unit reinstated. They'd be your best source for this particular matter.
I'm interested in this as well. How much does something like this run?
