I would love to get some feedback from you all. I have the opportunity to pay off my house or invest it in real estate(buy&hold sf&mutli). I would love to know everyone's thoughts on this.

Thanks Robert Leonard I just recently joined the ring group on meetup and will be going to the next meeting. Thanks for the book recommendations! I'll check them out this evening.

Hey everyone, A newbie from Baton Rouge, LA here. I've been wanting to get into real estate investing for quite a few years now but always hesitant out of fear of making a mistake/losing money. I've read rich dad poor dad, the BP e-book and listening to their podcasts like they are going out of style. I'm ready for action and ready to get off the sidelines. Over the past 10 years I've built a few houses to live in personally. I'm fairly familiar with residential construction. My interests are buying single family and multi family properties for rentals.
