Thank you all!   I ended up driving over there and there is a for sale by owner sign in the yard with the number.  Although not sure what I would have done without it.  No one pibes in either unit of the property.

Thanks that's what I have done so far minus the door knock.  Looking at the property it appears to be an empty duplex.  I am assuming its empty because I would imagine they would want to make it more appealing to an investor showing it had income already.  I have a feeling that its been abandoned.  I will drive by tomorrow and see if it is empty.  Googling the owner's name is a dead end because his first and last name are very common names and he could be anywhere and own that property.  There is no one in the local city coming up with that name.

I am looking at a property on Zilllow that has been on the market for 254 days.  I can see who owns it on the local Tax Assessors website.  I would like to contact this person but the contact information is the address of the property.  It is a multifamily property so I doubt that the mailing to the address would get me anywhere.  Also, I'd rather have a quicker response.

Anyone have any clever ways of using the information from the property to track down investors?

Have you tried knocking on the door?

No not yet.  Just found the property online and haven't left the computer yet.

I appreciate you taking the time to give such a great response.  The write up that you linked is great and I totally agree.  It gave me some ideas of questions that I would have not thought to ask. Thank you so much!
