Buy & Hold properties.

Type of properties?

Would like to start with apartments 8-15 units (maybe more). My ultimate goal is to invest in Office and / or Retail commercial

Looking for?

Investors with the same niche and strategy. Advice for a beginner investor. Networking with other commercial investors as I recently passed my Real Estate exam and will be starting work shortly as a Commercial Lending officer.

Can offer / knowledgeable about? At this point I'm still very new to the industry. But I hope to gain more knowledge as speak to all of you. As I become more experienced in my field - I'll hope to share that knowledge at future meetups

Will be my 3rd East Bay meetup and I have to say - it keeps getting better! Great to be able to meet folks in all facets of the industry and gaining much knowledge. Also the Calamari at Lake Chalet is pretty damn good!

A little about myself: Been living in the Bay Area all my life - Hercules to be exact. All of my career has been in the IT Industry (16 years). Taking my RE Salesperson Lic next week (had to reschedule from the 26th) and will pursue work as a Commercial Lending officer with a relative under his brokerage in Dublin, CA (Cordero Capital Partners)

In State / Out of State? As a beginner looking to start locally currently researching the Sacramento area

Strategy? Buy & Hold

Type of properties? Small apartments 8-10 units maybe up to 20. But my goal is to eventually invest in Commercial (Retail or Office)

Looking for? Would like to just network myself with like minded individuals to gain advice / hear experiences on how everyone began and hopefully gain working relationships with some of you later down the line. Commercial Brokers and Lenders as well as Commercial Investors

Can offer / knowledgeable about? At this point - very little other than I will be working as a Commercial Lending officer within the next couple of months and so marketing myself early at this time is one of my main focuses
