Miles,

I too am from the Indianapolis area (west of Broad Ripple), so I know exactly what church you're talking about. Very cool it's getting put to new use. My job had moved me around the country for a while, but I'm back in Indy for good now and have continued my real estate investing here in town. I'd love to meet grab lunch or coffee sometime.

Hey Eric, I am currently doing the exact same thing, in West Lafayette (walking distance to campus, too) at 24 years old and a recent grad from Purdue (graduated in 2017). I’m about 9 months into the house hack while living in and renovating it myself. My house is a triplex with two student renters. I did not by any means get the best deal on my buy. However, the best deal that I had was that it was my first deal, and one that has proven to be successful and fuel my fire and passion of real estate. While numbers are important, and should not be taken lightly, I think with the creative possibilities you have with living in, house hacking, and potentially renovating, you can get creative to make the numbers work. Best of luck to you!

Regards,

Cameron

Hello Mariah,

I was born and raised in Indianapolis and I am now an investor in West Lafayette, looking to branch back into my hometown roots. My experience has been in flipping and buy/rehab/hold rental properties. I am interested in the BRRRR type properties for long term rentals with value add opportunities. I am looking for properties 4 units or larger, ideally between the 4-10 unit range, but would not pass up on a great deal if it was larger.

Thanks,

Cameron

Thanks Ed,

Growing up in Indianapolis (broad ripple area), I am interested in 2-20 unit multi family properties in the Indianapolis area and surrounding suburbs.
