Quote from @Rebecca Knox:

Brew City REI Training Cafe offers ala carte training by independent local investors with a proven track record of success in the areas they are coaching--requirements are 20+ SUCCESSFUL deals in the area that they are coaching. Coaching rates are hourly.

Milwaukee REIA is an actual program where I heard from previous students that you are required to pay fees including splitting a certain amount of deals which I've heard is 10.

Obviously Brew City REI Training Cafe seems much cheaper as opposed to the REIA one but I would say you need to be a self-starter, meaning put in some work yourself.

No one really reinvents the wheel in real estate and most of the basic information you can find online but once you learn that information, the next phase is putting it in to action and that's where consulting with people who are actively participating in the local real estate investment market is beneficial.

I would consider myself to be a self starter. I’ve listened to countless hours of podcasts and YouTube videos to gain basic knowledge. I feel like I’m ready for the next step. But that’s where I am in the dark and could use some guidance. Areas I’m conflicted  with are the funding, finding and analyzing deals, and managing the contractors. This is the part I would mainly need guidance with.

The MilwaukeeREIA offers a split profit coaching. You can also find coaching at the Brew City REI Club. And if you ever get into buy & hold check out the RPA Rental Property Association. And for monthly Milwaukee real estate market updates check YouTube.

Hi Marcus, thanks for the reply. Would the Milwaukee REIA or the Brewcity REI be a better fit for me?

Hello, im 30 years old living in the Milwaukee area and looking to get into flipping houses. I would like to find a mentor to help teach me the process. I have a basic understanding  of how the process works, but would like to find someone willing to show me how to find/analyze deals and how to manage the rehabs. Im willing to split profits or compensate accordingly for your time.

Thanks.

I am a new investor just starting out. I bought my first two family last year, and am now looking to purchase a second one.  I’m looking for properties in the Milwaukee and Waukesha area. My question is where can I get the most bang for my buck, I’m looking for areas that have the best price to rent ratio. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would really like to invest in Waukesha county, but everything is so expensive, the numbers just don’t work out. What are you guys doing to find deals that work?
