I have a question on the occupancy rate in Gatlinburg we are looking to purchase a vacation home this year but would like to be in an area we would like to visit but also create a good revenue stream. With the increase in home values is this still a market for a small investor? Thanks!

So I’m new to short term rentals and I would like to add that to my portfolio. We are looking in the Smokey mountain area because we enjoy going vacationing there. Is that a market that can turn a profit and is the demand still there? Breaking even is a win for us as well. Also granted if is a good area I would love to use a realtor recommended from this page. Thank you

So following up with that me and my family take vacations to sarasota, fl. I plan and have been looking into that area but curious if any of you are familiar with that area? Thanks for the help!

I have multiple single family rentals all in the same area. I’d like to diversify my portfolio and add Airbnb’s as well. I have spent 8 months to a year learning about them and I wanted to know if new/future regulations will be a problem and if they are still lucrative options in today’s market.
