Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.  I admit that I'm really impressed with the BP community and website.  All the information I've discovered here has been very helpful.  

I noticed a meet and greet that you recently announced @Michael Jobe.  To bad I missed it, but I look forward to attending the next one.

I'm a new member of BP and would like to introduce myself. I'm new to REI and interested in learning more about SFH buy and hold properties. Being a local Raleighite, it would nice to meet people from the area with similar interest and too toss around ideas with.

So, since I've lived in or around the Raleigh, Garner and Clayton areas most of my life; I would like to focus my REI buy and hold efforts in these areas. Would someone be willing to share their general thoughts of REI in these areas?
