i just set up my llc a few weeks ago to purchase a property...was told to go to home depot, staples, or lowes to set up a small business line of credit...lowe's decided because my EIN was brand new, they wanted a personal guarantee from my SSN as well..is this the norm these days?? i was trying to get away from having business stuff show up on my personal credit reports??

good point jon, however it seems it may be best for him to be a passive investor..that being said i won't solicit him and beat a dead horse to give me money..however it could be something for him to think about in the future..even if it doesn't go to my investments...partnerring with somebody could provide great returns as we know with little work on his part...thanks

No Name, I know this was posted a while ago, but I had to inquire on this one... You are saying that if I hold a loan in my LLC's name and personally guarantee it, nothing will show up on my personal credit report as long as I stay current? Do you know if this is still true today? Thanks.
