@Anna Hamann

it really depend on what you are looking to do. The area for multi family homes are very different fron Rental single family and Single family that you can flip for retail price. PM me sometimes and we can discuss it further. Good luck!

It is very funny reading this. I am still wondering why are there people thinking RE as DEBT. DR has always said that Debt free is paying off everything but the MORTGAGE. So, if you looking at it that way, you can use the DR method in RE and succeed. You will just have to remember to pay it off as quickly as possible, which is what I would think most investors would want to do anyway. Why would you not pay off all loans so all money is yours and you don't have to give any to a lender?

Hello All. I had to take a little leave and now I am back. Because of everything I was going through, I need to get some contacts again. Looking for recommendations on Cash Buyers, REO agents and a Title Company.

@Shakeesha Johnson

Congrats on the first deal. I agree with @Brent Coombs that you should have a buyer ready, have under contract what a buyer is wanting or buy it yourself then you can do anything you want with it.

One more thing, if at al possible, Become a PRO here on bigger pockets and use the Analyze tab to see if the deal is a good one AND use it to print out the deal to convince buyers or lenders to help you.

I am willing to be a Bird Dog for an Investor that is looking for properties in the tarrant and Dallas counties in Texas. I am new to the Investing business and would like to use this opportunity to learn more. Thank you for all of your concerns.

no actually sure if this is 100% correct, but i was told that you could go to a main library in your city and find some foreclosure lists if you ask... you may be able to do the same with the probate. Those are public record, yes??
