Hello,

I am from Brooklyn, just signed up for a PRO account at BP, after following it for 5 months.

Interested in buying rental properties outside of New York. Want to focus on Philadelphia, and also interested in Dallas - Fort Worth Area.

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone, as Brandon Turner suggested in his webinar.

Thank you.

Hi @Anna Hamann,

Welcome to BiggerPockets!

Glad to hear that you want to get started in real estate investing.  The greater New York market (and many others) are very expensive and they don't makes sense from an investment perspective.  Dallas is one of many markets I really like and have had tremendous success in.  It's important to pick the right market(s) to minimize your risk and maximize your returns.

Be sure to check out the Ultimate Beginners Guide as well as my 10 Rules of Successful Real Estate Investing.

Continues success!
