Hi Brian, welcome!
Based on what you have provided, unless you are already pretty well versed in construction/remodeling I wouldn’t suggest spending your time trying to learn this. What I would suggest you do is begin to research the market and narrow down your buy criteria. Find a few areas/neighborhoods you want to focus and figure out a specific assets class to focus on as well. Once you have these, I would practice over and over analyzing deals in those markets so when you are ready to jump in, you can spot a good deal just by looking at it.  Also along side of that I would start to network and begin to try to build your team that will help you. You will need an investor friendly realtor (I think one that is an investor themselves) contractors, lender(s). That is how I would approach, hope this helps!

Echoing what all the other have said here as well. Not the best area for property number 1. The east side of Cincinnati is much better. Areas on the west side that I find attractive are white oak and Bridgetown.

I have rentals that I have performed any work needed. Looking into obtaining my first flip and would like recommendations on reliable general contractors in the area.

@Damian Bialonczyk

Thanks for the response. Yes both names are on the deed. So right now, while the property is owned by us as individuals, for tax purposes we would only be filling out schedule E form 1040 ? Once the property is owned by the LLC is that when taxes would then change to filing 1060 form in the name of the business. Is that what you mean?
